4.0 out of 5 stars Definitely a step up from 7x35s, December 8, 2009
I am an amateur astronomer in Maryland. I live in a small apartment, so I don't have room for your typical "starter scope". The 9x60's are a wonderful step up from the usual 7x35s that you might use for going to the ballpark. They really function best when on a tripod.
