I didn't read the instructions carefully the first time and wondered why it didn't stick. It's because I didn't iron it long enough. If you read and follow the instructions it should work just fine. I used these on work pants and have since washed them several times. The seam is still secure.

I bought two packs to hem about a dozen pair of pants. I am sick of hemming things by sewing, since I'm pretty terrible at it. This stuff works great and the pants I hemmed with it have gone through 20 washes without coming off!

After I ironed this onto a pillowcase that I was making, I decided to wash the case before I used it. Unfortunately, that seemed to have loosened the hold on this. And when I found that my case shrank in the wash, I managed to easily rip it off and finally sew with a sewing machine instead. I think this would be good for a temporary fix or if you had edges that weren't going to get too much abuse. Not for heavier use/wash.
