It doesn't seem to hold anything that is thick to fabric. Perhaps it is made for hems. I was hoping to use it for iron-on patches coming off my child's kung fu uniform but it won't keep those on. For very thin fabrics, it may work though.

Only hold temporarily, not long lasting. Difficult to apply, need to use safety pins and it's messy so won't be buying this product again.

I think you have probably had this problem. You have an old nightgown or PJ(s) that you just love!! Material does wear out. I hated it. I love my satin PJ(s)...and the seams were coming apart. Oh! The best thing I have found to hold the fabric together while the slue is drying is those old metal paperclip clamps. Worked like a charm!

I used this fabric glue. Yeah! I am wearing my PJ((s) I love!!!

I got this hopping for something more. It is light duty only, something to hold material in place while you sew it up. I had hoped for something more permanent. My bad. But keep in mind what you want. This may still be the product for you.

Not as easy to use as I had hoped - instructions involve multiple layers of glue and wiping off excess with a damp cloth. It seems like a lot of bother for a temporary bond that won't hold up after washing. I wanted to use it to stick down the corners of badges that had lifted on my daughter's Girl Scouts Vest, but the glue is hard to apply tidily, running out from under the edges, and it was the edges I really needed held down so I couldn't just apply it further into the middle. It was not easy to wipe off the excess with a damp cloth, as instructed, without the water soaking through the fabric into the area I wanted to glue, and making the glue not work.

Not waterproof. Amend the last review. All my work washed out in the first cold water wash. I looked at the fine print on the bottle and it didn't say washable. It said something like "quick fix.)It is white rather than clear, takes a long time to dry. I will use it up as glue, not as fabric glue. I am now searching for the brand I had before, that washed well. Scout uniforms etc.

We used it to repair a peice of fabric on a shoe that had come unsewn. I followed the directions to the letter. 48 hours later, the glue had failed and the fabric came right back off. This shoe was for a toddler. She was just walking- no hard play or running
