I had this same high chair when I was a baby. It lasted through me and my 3 siblings. When I had my first daughter, my mom passed it on to me to use. After 27 years it finally gave out, and the tray cracked. So with the birth of my second child, I registered for this high chair knowing that it is durable. I would recommend using this for a child that sits on his own without much support. I love that it is easy to clean, all you need to do is wipe it down, no washing cloth seat covers like the new high chairs. It matches well in my kitchen, and like it easy to assemble. Well worth the money. A true classic.

item arrived quickly and very well packed. fairly easy to assemble, took 15-20 minutes. the safety snap to secure the tray to the seat was missing. if i feel it is needed, i will contact the factory. one of the tray hinges is a little difficult to latch. this can be overcome by latching it first then the other.
one feature that is very notable is the female end of each screw has a metal insert placed by the factory. therefore you are attaching screws to threaded metal instead of wood. they are less likely to become "striped out" over time and use.
the tone of the cherry finish is a little darker/redder than my other cherry furniture.
in all, i would highly recommend this product and i would purchase again for myself or as a gift.
