WOW!!! This storage box exceeded my expectations. After reading reviews on the poor quality of cardboard boxes and those with a plastic see-through lid, I decided to purchase this quality piece at a steep mark up. The wood is a shiny lacquer, and though I'd prefer real, varnished wood, this box looks stunning on my dresser. The 20 compartments fit oversized watches with ease. My wrist is small, so I had to squoosh the pillows a bit in order to close the watch strap to sit upright. Not a fault of the manufacturer though. There's a small pouch to store extra links and watch bands. The price is a bit high, but I was not disappointed on the look, quality, or functionality of this storage box. As a watch collector, this box is key to easily viewing and preserving your collection.

I recently bought a second case and it matched my first one perfectly after all this time! The second case was necessary after I had purchased a few more watches and also needed room for a few bracelets. These cases DO fit larger watches nicely at least on the top section. My watches in the drawer section are smaller so I'm not sure about that section for larger watches.

It is very RED. The description says "cherrywood" color. I have furniture that is cherry wood and the furniture is brown with reddish tones. The color was not what I was expecting; it is much redder than the pictures. It should say RED lacquer in the description. I ordered a jewelry box in cherry wood at the same time and it's exactly what I was expecting. This watch box is very nice but it does not go with my decor and so, regrettably, I am returning.
