Got this thing the day of a gig, opened it's heavy self out of the box and ran it to my 4 ohm speaker stacks for a test drive. Used it that night at a Sorority party for a very young crowd and this thing just rocked!
I was a bit leery when at low volumes it didn't have nearly the bottom end as my Kenwood amp, but at a hotter level (which was only 9 o'clock on the mains) this thing absolutely made my speakers roar with room filling, chest thumping reverberation!
Checked the cooling vents a few times through the night and this pup seemed like it never even got warmed up. Cooling system is very nice with a healthy set of heat sinks on the power amps.
Very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a lot of horsepower without spending a big bank-roll. Pretty much have my sites on a new set of pyle dual 15 three way speakers as my next purchase.
Thanks guys, really helped out my DJ rig....

Six Months Later;
Had to ship it to a repair shop not long ago. Kept loosing the right channel. You could fire it up with the volume up a twitch (which I don' recommend due the hearty pop you get through your speakers when the effects processor kicks in) and it would be fine for a while, then it would drift off again.

Tech I sent it too was rather baffled, as the only thing he could find wrong with it was a loose screw on the right channel amp board. Don't figure, you'd think there would be more ground points.

At any rate, it's come home working flawlessly around here, and I took it out for a serious trial New Year's eve and this thing was frightening. I had it jacked up on the input channel to almost 60%, the same on the mains output, 60%, and truthfully, that was the highest I'd ever set it due to fear for my speakers.

Since it's arrival, I'e used the sysems on two occasions. The first was an in-door party for about 120 folks. I ran four speakers (two 400 watt and two 600 watt) and a 600 watt subwoofer for 6 hours, pretty well maxed out. Worked flawlessly.

Second was an outside gig for 5 hours, pushing the same configuration. Worked flawlessly.

On both occasions I was complimented on the robustness and clarity of the music.

If Berhinger would just work on their owner's manual a little more. It's basically useless.

PMP2000 Review

I received my new Behringer PMP2000 amp today. The item was received on time, there was no physical damage to the shipping carton. The device was sealed in a factory fresh plastic bag - this obviously ensured that the device was "NEW" and not refurbished. I tested all the knobs and buttons, they were all in tack and there were no damaged or broken knobs or switches. To be fair, I haven't powered up the amp at this time, If there are any powered up operational issues I will report them here. The overall outward appearance and condition was perfect. I would recommend this seller, they delivered the device as promised, on time, the packaging was adequate to protect the device in shipment, and the price was more than fair for what this amp delivers. This is a "TRUSTED SELLER."

Follow up 03/20/2013: I fired up my new PMP2000 today attached to a new set of 1000 watt speakers, each speaker cabinet has two 15" sub-woofers, two mid-range, and two titanium tweeters. The amp worked flawlessly, performance was absolutely outstanding, the PMP2000 800 watt amp is a screamer and can handled most any venue you'll encounter, this amp when driven with appropriate speakers, with little effort, will deliver outstanding clear and crisp audio to large crowds and large venue facilities.

I read a few complaints that the PMP2000 would cut out and overheat causing premature shutdown of the amp. First of all, I hardly had to crack the drive and the speakers lit up the venue, additionally, the amp ran cool as a refrigerated cucumber over an extended period of time and under various drive conditions. Anyone that finds fault with this amps performance, needs to look elsewhere for the problems they're experiencing.

This is a fantastic power mixer! I had a Peavey 8600 that was excellent but was fried during a thunderstorm (my fault) so instead of paying $500 to repair the $650 unit, I purchased this jewel for $350 and so far am totally imoressed with it. More channels, better effects and more power than the Peavey. I highly recommend it.

I thought it was great till one of the channels went out, don't know how to fix it either, I'll have to tear it apart and see what lies inside.

Apart from the one channel going out-the screws come out too easily on it and I'm constantly having to tighten them down, and I hardly use the dang thing!

Behringer is definitely sub-par as far as quality goes...

hmmm... first you will get more than you will pay for this product imagine the clarity sound of a desent studio sound systems, that is what you will hear on the speaker output... well i connected it with my yamaha pa speaker that is programed to 250watts rms to 500watts peak, and im really amazed and pleased to the sound output on it, althogh i dont think it can really push it to 350 watts at the max. and theres a wattage settings that you can read or see on the manual about 4ohms 8ohms to 16ohm thats why it really cant do the 350watts per channel... i just know by hearing it cause i recognized sounds and loud sound ...i also have a LIVE power mixer for my karaoke system that has 225watts per channel and that, i will say its louder but also every amp has its ups and downs and for the behringer pmp2000 this power mixer is better, imagine the clarity of a bose "acoustimas serries"... imagine that, that is what you can hear on a PA speaker... that is how good the sound that this power amp produced... about the down side its not that loud that i expect from a 350watts amp and the low's are not that deep or excelent, but thats maybe the speaker that i am using but still it has a good base but not to compare to a good powered subwoffer or car subwoffers... i will say its just right... but on my own satisfaction i wanted a better bass effect so i think im adding another sub speaker or just mix it with a powered subwoffer...

about the channels i have only tried 3 inputs like the guitar, mic, and cd or dvd sound out. and also media player like zune and cellphone that has a preamp or headphones out...and that it will really hugs your sound loving fellings...
