I have a 2004 Ford F-150 that would suddenly attempt to shift into four wheel drive. The problem didn't happen often, making t difficult to diagnose. After a lot of money spent with mechanics I read on one of the forums that replacing this would correct the problem. It did exactly what it should.

Used to replace Factory item which was defective also known as IWE solenoid.This works fine to correct the problem but you must flush the vacuum lines
