This is the first half-round bolster that I've owned. I find it too squishy and soft for most applications. If they are going to make it so pillowy soft, I think they need to make it much larger so that after all that light stuffing compresses, you still have some support. Not really the case here. OK to use for the neck when laying supine, but not adequate for most ankles when laying prone. If you're only going to get one bolster, get a full round. If you're going to get two, then add an overstuffed full round. If you're going to get three, then check this one out. If you're absolutely sure that a non-firm half round is what you need, this one is well made.

Description was too vague. I wanted a firm bolster, and this is VERY soft and compressible. I am not sure that it is usable for anything. THEN it came in a box that was 6-8 times bigger than the product loaded with paper filler. SERIOUSLY, overkill as the product is not fragile. Huge waste of resources that I paid almost as much for (shipping and handling $8)as the product itself (product $12).

I'm responding to the other review which gave this bolster 2 stars - well duh, this half bolster is create for use on a massage table, not for laying upon in a yoga session. With massage it is inserted under the ankles when a client is laying face down so that the feet articulation at the ankle is not uncomfortable. I've used these half rounds for years - I like them and clients are thankful when one is inserted under the ankles.

Occasionally, I have some sciatic pain that makes it impossible to sleep. I noticed when I went to the massage therapist how wonderful it feels when she puts this kind of pillow under my knees (when I'm on my back) and under my feet (when I'm face down). I was using a regular pillow at home in the same way and it just wasn't working.

This comes in a very sturdy vinyl zip cover. It's also much firmer than I imagined. But it still works. It's also great when I'm using a theraband to strengthen my feet for ballet. I rest my leg with the pillow under my Achilles tendon.

I purchased this bolster thinking it would provide decent support, but it is very flimsy and too soft. It doesn't feel like there is really any stuffing inside of it.
I'm sorry to have wasted the money and should have just bought a regular 6" bolster.

If one is using this for professional work, I would say grab it it's worth it!!

My medical massage therapist has use this same one for 14 years and it is in excellent condition

That is why I bought it for myself to sleep with at night. However my overly sensitive backs of my knees could not take it's desirable firmness that has some give. Not much but some

It is not hard but it is not soft either as in pillow like softness or memory foam like softness.

So I recommended to those who are using it Either for their workplace or during the day and for some who are sturdier than I this would be so excellent to use as it is so enduring to last as long as it did for my therapist is amazing.

I am so sorry that I could not use this because of my unique condition

Oh and for those who have allergies it has no smell and it has a nice cover and is overall very well-made

I hope i answered any question you could possibly have , I tried to think of everything
