The game is pretty much what the description suggests and is certainly not innovative. Think Mario Brothers with some arithmetic questions blended in.

The quality of games for the Didj will have to improve for this system to have staying power.

We bought this game for my daughter along with the Didj system for xmas. She likes that you can play this game as anyone of the Nickelodeon characters but prefers the game that came with the Didj system over this one.

As far as the educational factor goes, you basically have to solve a math problem before going to each new level. I have not noticed much math during the actual game play.

Overall, it's still a fun game and I would recommend it if your child is a Nick toons fan.

My nephew has this one, and I happened to glance over his shoulder while he was playing it in the car. Invader Zim in a video game, almost eight years later? Wow! I don't think my nephew knew who Zim was, but he certainly does now. That gave us plenty to talk about for the last few days. I watched the show when I was in high school.

As for the gameplay, it's not overly difficult, which is good for a game marketed to teach small children math. I think the game would probably be better if there were more content available to be unlocked as the game progresses, and incentives for beating it at more than one difficulty level. He really enjoys it, which is what counts.

The PCs are kind of a mish mosh, which is good in a way, but I'm disappointed that Dib isn't a major factor in the outcome of the game.

I recommend this game to any child who needs to work on his or her times tables.

I do not believe in hand held games or video games for children. My mother is the one who went against my wishes and purchased this for my daughter Christmas 2008, that's right 2008. Knowing my feeling on this subject my mother came armed with newspaper articles, e-articles, and an educational magazine. Due to my stubbornness it was an entire year before I loaded the software on my computer. With that being said I am glad my mother purchased this for my daughter (age 8) as I never would. Didj is not a hand held game or video game, it is an awesome educational tool. I love it! The Didj includes a feature on its "Leapfrog Connect" in which I can upload her spelling words and choose her math facts and language arts skills by grade and then again by specific skills. In order to continue to the next level she must answer a series of educational questions, this motivates her because she earns micromods. Micromods are equivalent to money/tokens in which she downloads "extras" for each game. For example, she has downloaded a pet for Sonic and a new computer for Nancy Drew and a Karate move for Spongebob. I have purchased another six educational tools; Nancy Drew, Nicktoons, Neopets, Tinkerbell, Super Chicks, High School Musical and a free download from Leapfrog Jet Pack Heroes. I can't seem to say enough about this valuable educational tool. My daughter is studying her math facts and spelling words without me telling her "It's time to study".

This is by far the best game for the digi console. I bought this becouse I am a NICKTOONS fan. I am suprised at how fun this game really is. It is more fun then some of the other nicktoons games that are on the wii & other consoles.
most of the other digi games I rated as ok but not amzaing. most of the other games are boring . There are not many games over all for this console. Leapster should make more games or more good games like this one. If your kid likes nicktoons I would suggest this one ,it & it alone was worth the price.
The music is grate & you CAN play just the math games without playing the game part,Witch I really enjoyed.

NOTE! if your console is messed up & keeps shutting down just use a paper clip on the back where the arrows are & re-run soft ware.
mine still has problems doing the online bonus stuff but It doesn't really matter.
this console could have used a tv output & a better on/off button & a better sound button. the resalution & sound is grate!

I recamend this product for any nicktoons fan.

This is the first didj game that kept my son interested and playing - almost too long we had to set limits on his play time. He loves it.

My grandchildren have played and enjoyed this game. My review is based on their response to the game and the length of time they have played plus the questions they ask when they play. It has been a challenge for the 7 year old and the 5 year old has also been able to play productively. I have not personally played the game. Most of the problems regarding the Didj itself is my not understanding how the system is set up and how to use the website properly and not problems with the game itself.
