Good sturdy receptacle with standard form factor and a shallower depth. A 20A circuit will mean the less flexible 12 gauge wire and this receptacle uses conventional screw-down connectors which can be annoying to make a clean tight wire wrap around the lug for us once-in-a-while amateurs. A straight in connection made with a friction plate connection would have added a bit of installation ease. Still... a good price and product.

This is a commerciall grade plug installed in my studio. Each recepticle will be used heavily. Because it can take years for these to fail I can only rate them on the feel and price.
Many plugs now have a pressure plate w/a barb to squeeze against the wire to help keep in place. These don't have that sorry to say.

This receptacle is better-made and easier to install than others. Prices are about the same, so you might as well get a quality product. In addition to being sturdy and well constructed, it has a small plate that lets you clamp your wires in place vs having to bend the around the screws. This is a small feature, but it makes a difference if you are doing a big project and have to install large numbers of receptacles.

Leviton makes a good quality product. This particular plug is made for those with a 20 amp circuit. It accommodates the funny looking three prong plug that comes on devices requiring a 20 amp circuit.

Very high quality outlets and perfect when you need to make one stand out for generator power, etc. We have been using thees for a few months now and they hold up well, even in high use areas. Don't be fooled, it's not just the color but the actual quality of the plastic and construction that is better. These are not cheapo outlets from a big box store.

Good replacement, however on my wall I had to remove the screws completely to wrap the wire around and put the screws back on the sides, which were insanely difficult, not sure if the threading is very good.
