Regular duplex, looks to be as good as the units from the home store. Mine actually came with eh safety feature whee the holes are covered with a white plastic that pushes out of the way as you plug something into it. I like it becasue It keep dust from the shop out of the outlet. Probably good for the kids too. The description doesn't say anything about that so maybe I got lucky.

Easy to install outlet. Made better that general contractor's/residential grade outlet. Connections are with side screws, Does not have the quick push-in type back connections. Good upgrade replacement outlet. Use with 14 gauge wire.

I prefer to screw down my electrical connections rather than trust spring tension connections. I like this receptacle because it gives me that choice in a quality piece of hardware.
