The Lutron Satin Colors 15A Electrical Socket Duplex Receptacle,
Sea Glass is an excellent product that coordinates perfectly with the
glass tiles of our kitchen back splash.

Just be aware you will need to purchase the matching socket or switch plate cover
to complete the customized look. Other covers will not fit as the screw holes are
not compatible with them and they really don't compliment the customized finished
appearance of these receptacles.
Well worth the price and, as always, Amazon delivers another top notch product.

This is the 15 Amp receptacle that sets into the Lutron Wallplate. Its very nicely made, as are the 20 Amp receptacles (made by Cooper, but with a colored facade on them. The Cooper quality is great - even the contact screws have little covers on them - they're the nicest 20 amp receptacles I've come across.

Before ordering this, I had Lutron send me a set of color samples so I could pick a color that would match our bathroom tile. The "Desert Stone" color sample was a perfect match, so I ordered this and several other items in that color. They just arrived today -- and they DO NOT MATCH Lutron's color sample, not even close. Be warned, you're taking a chance.

Bought 3 different shades of 'tan' for an artist who didn't want to have the plain old ivory color on painted walls and tile. Very happy customer who got to pick out the outlets by color from the color chips Lutron sent. Very close to the color chips samples sent (order from Lutron's site). It all looks tan to me but not my customer. Be sure to get the color wheel from Lutron if the color matters because the colors on the web page are not accurate.

Bought the switched, receptacle, and plates for our laundry room. The color (desert stone) works well with a light neutral tan/pecan/wheat color. Speckles are not that obvious in person. Easy enough to install. If you like to have your switch plates, etc. disappear into the wall and paint color, these are for you.

Its matte colour red did not exactly match our Benjamin Moore million dollar red in Aura satin paint but it was close enough that from far away it is not noticeable. It helps make our accent wall more uniform in look without it being interrupted by a different coloured decora receptacle.

For the receptacle wall plate to match the wall and receptacle, I lightly sanded a white plastic decora wall plate and then spray painted it glossy red. I could have used the wall paint to colour it instead but I felt that the spray paint would be even more durable against nicks from incoming plugs.

Faced with almond outlets that were growing dingier and ever less capable of retaining a plug, I turned to Lutron's Claro receptacles. They were modern looking, came in a color that was almost identical to most of our walls, and weren't cheap yellow plastic.

It was a great decision. These install easily, look great, feel great, and have proven to be durable and easy to keep clean. If you're upgrading from the $0.25 hardware store specials, they do take a little bit of extra room in the box, but it's well worth any fighting with your wiring box for the clean look. In less than ten minutes I shaved twenty years off the age of the house.

This is the only receptacle I use now. OK, they may not go behind the refrigerator or in the garage, but they are installed everywhere else. The simplicity of design when installed with the Lutron Claro Wallplate is perfection; the satin finish is subtle and soft and matching or coordinating color selection is extensive and every accessory I've ever needed is available.
