The yarn is great, and I use it for dishcloths and pot holders all the time.

HOWEVER, the price is ridiculous. Go to Red Heart' web site, and you can buy the same yarn to $2.29 for the same size skein. Even with shipping charges, it nearly half the price that Amazon charges. I bought 5 skeins (big selection of colors), and with shipping, it only came to $3.68 per skein.

I don't know why, but all of Amazon's yarns are higher priced than other places, even when shipping is figured into it. But I use too much of it to be paying twice what I need to.

First, you need a ton of this to make anything. Second it has too many knots per skein and your finished project won't look as nice. And third the skeins are tiny! Beware...use this only for projects that lots of knots won't look bad on.

i purchased 300 dollars' worth of this yarn in november to make items for two bathrooms and one kitchen. in the first 14 skeins i found that each had no less than 4 knots, many having a knot every two or three rows. i wrote the company and they wrote back asking me to send them the labels of the skeins i had opened so they could replace them. one had 4 knots within only 3 yards of yarn. every time there is a knot it wastes the entire row for me because i only add yarn at the end of a row, knitting or crocheting. some rows are nearly 100 sts. it should be called cream de la waste as far as i'm concerned and told coats and clark the same. they promised to replace the 14 first skeins i opened. i sent them the labels/sleeves over a month ago and no replacements, no more communications, etc. they maintain that their yarn is allowed one or 2 knots per skein by law. they break that law profusely. i'm not purchasing any products by this company any longer. i realize that will limit me a great deal because their products are multiple and many times the only brand of thread etc. someone carries but thanks to the internet we can find others and i plan to. the colors are superb ... when they match others with the same name. none have dye lots so it's a crap shoot whether the skeins you purchase from them will match the others of the same name. i sent them samples of the differences in some of them where the same name color was much darker, brighter, etc than the others and no reply no replacement. somewhere there is the world's worst yarn and the biggest rip off. i think i've found them both. buyer beware.

This is a lovely cotton to work with and the colors are gorgeous! I just made a few flowers but really this cotton would be ideal as dish scrubbies, face cloths, etc.

I would purchase this cotton again and have many of the other colors which I am happy with also.

I did not receive a package of three but a package of one. I sent a message to amazon but never heard back from them. The package was even taped shut after being opened. This happens to me off and on with my orders. I just hope the person on the other end enjoyed the money I paid.

I have recently used this combed cotton to design a face cloth and it's texture is that of a high quality cotton. It is not only soft but has a sturdiness to it. The color range of the Creme de la Creme are simply beautiful, I've ordered 10 different colors and I absolutely love them all!
