I was under the impression that I would receive 6lbs of wax, however I only received 1lb. It was meant as a gift for my mom so I have not used it, but that doesn't change the fact that I paid 35 bucks for I PC!!

I use a lot of paraffin in my shop and after checking prices everywhere else including my so called suppliers, this is the best price to be found. It's actually kind of sad that I have to go thru Amazon to get a cheap price on stuff that I should be able to get thru my supplier.

I don't have a lot of experience using paraffin, but this stuff smells great and seems to have an extra low melting point. I was surprised at the gooyness of it. It practically slides right off, but I learned that this makes it easy to clean up.

Product melted easily, smelled wonderful and was not that oily. Any left over oil residue just needed to be rubbed into my hands like lotion.

Amazon could have done better with inside packaging... Wax went everywhere when I opened the box. Even though product comes in separate one pound bags wax got out of the product bags. All product bags were placed in another bag and the outer bag was tied or closed I dont think this would have happened.

This is true Paraffin Wax, it melts smoothly and has the right amount of liquid to make using an easy process. A true paraffin wax is a bit on the oilier side, that's what makes it so unique. If you dont like this, then dont order the Paraffin. I ordered the peach and was a little hesitant as to what it may smell like, but it wasn't too strong at all. In fact, it was really pleasant. Im normally not that big of a peach scent fan, but I wanted to try a different scent other than the traditional lavender or vanilla (which both smell very good as well and not overwhelming). I was very pleased with this peach wax. It was very easy to remove and the residue left over is supposed to be massaged into the skin. I notice a huge difference when I use Paraffin wax. The packaging was one pound in each separate bag so you don't have to use all 6 pounds at once. Very nice and you cant really beat the free shipping for 6 pounds of product if you are a prime member!

The peach scent is wonderful and the wax is slightly thicker than some of the others I have tried. It softens my skin wonderfully.

With my wax warmer, I usually do an initial dip and let that cool/harden a bit. I then put my hands back in and let the heat melt off the first coat and pull my hands out and put immediately into a liner and heated wrap pad. Oh yeah, that was an important detail. I now use normal oven mitts which I preheat in my dryer set on high. I dip, cool, dip, line, then pull the oven mitts out of the dryer and stick my hands directly in. The skin is wonderfully soft. Once all is done, I use a tiny bit of lavender corn starch powder to make things feel smooth without feeling dry.

For those in doubt about the benefits of paraffin WebMd has a great review and recommendations on using and on how to use it safely. Paraffin is all natural, healing and can help with many different ailments including fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis. I've used this product for many years and not once have I heard that it could be harmful.
