get what you pay for

before you cut the wire wrap electrical tape around it to prevent unraveling. this wire is higher because its US wire not cheap chinese . i use this on my sailboat with loos wire guage. you cannot use loos guage with 316 stainless. keep it cleaned and it will last you many years. if you want super shiney then go with 316 but this stuff has higher strength.

While almost invisible, the cable's tensile strength enabled me to run it for 50 feet span to string up outdoor lighting. I was worried I'd purchased the wrong product, but it worked out well.

This Loos Stainless Steel 302-304 wire rope is the best small diameter wire rope I have used. You may as well get the plastic coating, unless you plan to solder it onto an end.
