This is a good cable. I am using this as guy-wire for a 35-foot antenna mast and I bought stainless since I didn't want it to rust. As the name implies, it is lubricated cable. Typically only aircraft users would need lubricated (stainless cables going through pulleys for control surfaces).

So if you don't actually need lubricated, then get the unlubricated variety -- less messy to handle. Regardless, this cable is a quality product and I'm happy with it.

Loos & Company fills orders quickly, with really good quality treatment of the shipments. All items I have ordered has been really good quality and the price is reasonable. This wire cable is good SStuff, and most of what I have ordered is SSteel. The Stainless Steel 302/304 Wire Rope which is said to be Mil Spec. and Lubricated, is what I needed to repair my Lawn mower's cut height cable and to make a replacement pull cable for the drive. Good Stuff! I like it.

I like this cable. I use it for everything. I've half-dozen bird feeders hanging from pulleyed loops due to bears. This wire with swedged terminators has held the feeders up for 2 years through ice and snow. Now seeing some rust, but still working well.
