This pad lives up to its title. It really does stay on almost anything. I do alot of cards and like to ink the edges and stamp sayings on things. I also do other crafts and thought this would be great for stamping on candles and glass jars. The only problem I have found is when they filled this pad they put all the ink in the middle of the pad. Also if you store your ink pads upside down the ink will always be on the top of the pad and ready to use.

This definitely dries fast and does the trick! I use it on the rigid photo mailers I use to sell art prints so I can stamp my logo on the back flap. My logo has a lot of fine detail and small print (about 7 pt size). They come out sharp and no smudging. I usually let them dry about a minute before touching them, just to be safe.

I will say that the StazOn stamp pads behave differently than the regular stamp pads you get at craft stores. They are VERY inky. Do no push your stamp into the sponge of the pad or you are going to end up with an inky blob instead of an image. Just lightly kiss the surface and then briefly kiss the surface of what you are stamping. If you push down into either it will blob out the details. Also, be very careful to always put the plastic cover and lid back on the pad when you are not using it. One of my StazOn pads dried up in just one day when I forgot to leave the lid on (I've done so with my other stamp pads and it didn't seem to hurt them).

I ordered the Stazon ink pad because it was recommended for use with stamps and watercolor paints. After stamping numerous images, I gave up and switched to an Archival ink pad advertised to be water resistant. The Archival ink stamped cleanly, evenly and thoroughly. The Stazon ink produced clumps of too much ink and areas of no ink at all on image after image. It may work fine on glass, metal, etc., but for me it did not work on paper.

Color is strong yet subtle and make a good impression. The only thing is I didn't buy the StazOn spray cleaner when I bought it. It was a messy mistake, and I had to dig out glycerin from my toiletries as a temporary fix, until the cleaner arrived. The cleaner works best on the red stamps, and not as well on my clear stamps. Also, I wanted to use it to stamp on the back of my photographs, matte and glossy paper, and my hand must not be steady enough to keep it from bleeding/looking blurry, so I had to drop that idea. But it works great on kraft papers and cardboard mailers I am using it on.

This ink is so useful for so many art projects. I've been using it with stamps on greeting cards, ATC's, coasters, and watercolor papers. After it dries, I use watercolor pencils, gelatos, and colored pencils over what I stamped. (See my photo with watercolor pencils on a coaster, and on cards).

My only complaint is that it is really hard to clean the black off the stamps, but I may not be using the right product for that.

used this stamp for our wedding RSVP postcards. i purchased a custom stamp with our RSVP information on it, and wanted a pad that was going to be permanent on a variety of paper finishes. i used vintage postcards with different finishes (some more cottony and some with a gloss), and the ink stayed put on all of them.
i did lay out the postcards to dry before i stacked them, but this worked very well.

More expensive than the bargain basement brands, but it puts just the right amount of ink on the stamps, not too much, not too little and the smell is delightful. I will definitely reorder this brand when I need another stamp pad. I also like that there is a plastic inner cover to help keep the pad from drying out. Top notch product.
