I got this as a prop when I went to a fancy dress party as the character Daphne from the TV show 'Frasier'. From the moment I took this out of my suitcase I was getting compliments on it, people saying they thought it was real as they passed by my room, and then at the party, people (albeit drunk ones) kept coming up and touching it thinking it was real. People would even step out of my way as they thought it was a real dog, and the party was inside a crowded pub so this was a plus.
The toy is extremely durable. We packed this in my husbands suitcase, a soft duffel bag type, and put it on a long-haul flight to the UK. When it emerged some 14 hours later, it was pristine. The toy is not soft like a teddy bear, its more rigid but that isn't a problem. Its still cuddly. I had to leave it at my mother-in-laws house as I didn't have enough room in my suitcase on the return trip, but I miss it!

I remember seeing this plush inside of a pet store and it looked amazing.
I bought this last year and was very disappointed with the quality. I ordered 2 of them because I was going to give them as gifts to my family after they dog sat my pup for me.
I've uploaded some photos I have of the plushes I received.
The spots were uneven and didn't align, one had a messed up eye, and the mouths looked like they were added on with magic marker.
Luckily amazon sent me some new ones right away. So in my photos, you get to see 4 of them side by side. Again, I noticed that the quality control on these things are seriously lacking. Some are fatter than others, and some had lopsided ears.
I wouldn't recommend this as a cuddly toy for children, but more for adults who want to have a lifelike statue to keep on a shelf. The plush animal is pretty stiff.
I'm pretty disappointed with how they turn out, but I remember that this plush is much cheaper than it used to be too.

As weird as it sounds, I use this for dog training as a "dog decoy" for dog reactive dogs. We have the Melissa and Doug poodle and thought this would make a great addition. However, it really really smells! Like chemicals and plastic and I have kids and they do play with the poodle but I won't let them touch Jack. He lives in our garage since he reeks! Great for my purposes, but not for the indented purpose of a kid's toy.
