Ordered this product on Sept. 23rd and received it today, Sept. 29th. The product was very well packaged. Once I got through the packing peanuts I came upon the material the product was wrapped in. It was wrapped as if the product was made of extremely fragile glass. Nice job! So...I've been shaving my upper lip for years and I've noticed the hair growing in thicker and darker. I was afraid I would soon develop a 5 o'clock shadow so I decided to start having my upper lip waxed. I had my very first waxing about a month ago...it was HORRIBLE and TERRIBLY painful! After the initial pain my upper lip started tingling. I asked the gal if this was normal, she said yes. I then felt her wipe what smelled like baby oil on my upper lip, which was as red as a tomato. I expected redness, after all my hair had just been ripped out by the roots. About 10 minutes later I was in extreme pain, my upper lip felt as if someone was holding a blowtorch to it. Again, I figured this was normal due to the trauma and the fact that I have very sensitive skin. Later that evening I noticed bumps developing. By the time I woke up the next morning, my upper lip was covered in red bumps and what looked like whiteheads!! Gross! I did some internet research and some say it's an infection that occurs when bacteria gets in to the newly opened pores, others say it's a reaction to the oil some salons apply after removing the hair...akin to people with oily skin developing acne. Well, whatever it was, it was gross and itchy and the bumps took about 3 weeks to disappear completely. Needless to say, I was extremely hesitant about trying this product. Moom is awesome: it's easy on the environment, easy to use, effective, much less painful than tweezing, and cleans up easily. I love the reusable strips, too.

But for just $5 more, you can get about almost 4x the amount of product by purchasing the full size product (6 oz). The small sticks and strips that come with the travel kit make it well suited for using on your face, but they also mean it's less convenient to wax larger areas such as legs and underarms. Because the strips needs to be arranged on your skin as soon as each layer of wax goes on, it's unfeasible to use the tiny sticks to cover a lot of area; not to mention, the strips wouldn't even be large enough to apply over the wax-coated area. In comparison, the full size kit comes with more, and larger, strips and sticks.

For purposes of traveling, this might be good, but I'd personally buy the larger kit, empty some into a small pot, tossing it along the larger sticks and strips into a small zip-lock. That way, you save money (and really, even though I think Moom is like magic, it's just sugar, lemon juice, and chamomile tea at the end of the day) get the benefits of having a small container for traveling, and can wax large areas.

This is more like a small jar (travel size) for the face area. Maybe about 5-6 usages. The shipping was very quick. Very happy that it's organic simple ingredients.

Update:
So I just used this product and I LOVE it!
• Very easy to use.
• You do not need to heat it up. I used it
straight out the jar.
• It has a thick honey, molasses texture.
• I used it on my chin-neck area and all the hair
came off with the exception of a few hairs I
had to pluck.
• The clean up is easy (soap and water).
• The strips are reusable.
• Because of the thickness of the wax, one of
the little sticks for application broke but that's
not a problem because you might want to find
a more permament application like the back
of a spoon or pop sickle stick future
consistant usage's.

I have PCOS and because my hormones are out of wack I was a bit embarrassed to go to salons for a waxing (even those I have gone once before other times I pluck). This is a cost effective personal way of removing the hair.

Key things to do:
° Wash your face before using with soap and
water then dry thoroughly (you can use baby
powder instead)
° Apply the wax to the area
° Apply the strip, firmly rubbing it to secure it
°Rip it off quickly, do not be scared. The quicker you rip the more are will come off and it's actually less painful like that.

I'm not sure if I'm just doing it wrong, but there are times where this is amazing and seems to remove every strand of hair that I aimed to remove, and there are times where I just get my face sticky and gross for no reason. I've followed the directions, but it just doesn't work most of the time and I have to make multiple attempts.

I have sensitive skin and easily irritate based on chemicals, scents, so on but this product was great on my skin. No redness or allergies and I really liked being able to rinse off the wax from the waxing strips and continue using them. I read in a review to apply wax to waxing strip and use without warning up which worked great for me. :)
