If you are looking for milk thistle, I think this is the best one available. I gave it to my dog for years (she was oddly ill) and this brand has something in it that the others do not that made it more effective than milk thistle from the grocery store. She lived to be 14!!! Now I am taking it myself. I am very statisfied.

I use but I really love the effects on my dogs. Dogs respond so much faster to supplements than humans. This one is a superb supplement. The results on my dogs are extremely faster with this supplement than any other I've used. Anytime dogs develop cataracts get them on it fast. If you are using chemical flea and tick repellents use this in conjunction with and don't stop. Vaccinations are horrible on the liver, human or dog. Get on it and don't stop!!!! Pancreatic problems, get on this!!!! Enough said!!!

Everyone whom l purchased this for has benefitted much from taking this supplement 3x a day. I don't know exactly what their complaints were but they said they won't be without it. I believe they were aware of the benefits of the ingredients in this supplement which is silymarin, artichoke leaves and milk thistle. Homeopathic medicine touted they are good for liver detox and blood glucose control. I don't believe there is a miracle pill that will allow a diabetic to freely load up on sugar, desserts, simple carbs. This is just my opinion...l am well informed but not an expert in alternative medicine.

My gallbladder/liver area was hurting. There is no pain like gallbladder/liver pain. My BM's were showing signs of issues, yellowish in color. (So sorry, not to be graphic or gross.)
