Eleuthero is an adaptogenic herb. One of the claimed benefits is that it helps deal with stress mentally and physically.
From my experience it does help on both counts and with no side effects. I notice that working long hours and stress aren't as draining as they were prior to my taking Eleuthero. I only take one 500mg cap daily.
After trying a number of adaptogenic herbs I found that there is no universal, magic herb. Some herbs that get excellent reviews on various sites didn't work for me. This is one that has been beneficial for me personally.
I have a lot of confidence in the NOW Foods brand for quality and price.

I love this stuff so happy I found it. I've had a problem with sweating excessively for more than 10 years now and Now Foods, Eleuthero 500 mg helps so much. It says to take 2 capsules up to twice a day, this very effective, however I found for me if I take 3 to 4 twice a day results are the best. I should also note that I have social anxiety, depression, OCD, and ADHD, I've noticed a slight effect helping with my anxiety after starting taking these pills.

I'll update later if any side effects occur.

Great stuff highly recommend!!

The first bottle of this that I ordered was amazing. It really kind of woke up my mind. Sometimes when I'm in the car waiting for someone, I'll do crossword puzzles. I'm not that great at them and struggle with them most of the time. But when I took this stuff I would zip through puzzles I had left unfinished and go on to do more. It didn't really give me noticeable added energy, but did give me increased mental acuity and increased motivation or ambition as well. I should also note that I was taking just one capsule. The serving size on the bottle is "2".

However, the second bottle I received did not provide the same effects at all. I noticed no difference in mental alertness and actually think it may make me just a bit irritable. That's the same effect Panax Ginseng has on me. After trying it several times, I've decided not to waste my time taking anymore, so I'm stuck with a bottle of worthless pills. I've rated it two stars instead of one to acknowledge that I did have a positive experience with all the capsules in the first bottle.
