I subscribed to this product a couple of years ago. I have been taking ginseng for over 40 years and KNOW what good ginseng is. The subscription was cancelled by the company some time back and the product became unavailable. The product I had received before was high quality Panax ginseng. One taste told me so. HOWEVER............. When the product once again became available some months later, I once again ordered it expecting the same quality product. It WASN'T! The ginseng in these capsules doesn't even taste like ginseng. If it has good panax in it, it is so diluted as to be unrecognizable. It was once a great product and the reviews are probably from the former product. Unless they have returned to their former product, I highly recommend that you avoid this purchase as it has degraded considerably with it's reappearance on the market.

I only take Panax (Korean) ginseng about 7 months out of the year when I am cycling a lot. It is too strong for me when I am not cycling - it tends to keep me awake at night. It does have a noticeable effect on my stamina. That is the main reason I take it, but I have also noticed that my brain seems to function better on it as well. I try not to take it more than three weeks straight because I have read you should take breaks from it. I can't say I know what happens if you don't. Never tested it.

Dont let the 500mg dosage fool you, this is shockingly less potent than other brands of ginseng that I have had in the past.
After taking one pill more than the reccomended dosage 2x a day for two weeks, I have not noticed any of the benefits that I usually experience with ginsing supplements from other brands.
Maybe I got a bad batch, but I would not buy this one again.

Unfortunately, this has given me side effects I can't live with. I've tried it different times within the last few weeks and every time I take a capsule I get profuse diarrhea and a severe headache within hours after digesting it. It doesn't bother my stomach but it does do a "number" on my intestines. I eat very healthy and am a healthy person all around. I am convinced it's this product. I will be discarding it. Buyers beware and please pay attention when you consume it.
