I am very happy with Papilio Clear Inkjet Decal Paper. It takes the ink from my HP OfficeJet printer very well. I tried 3 different "fixative" sprays and had better results with Rustoleum Crystal Clear Enamel than with a spray lacquer or with Krylon Acrylic Crystal Clear. In fact, the Papilio site specifically mentions not to use the Krylon spray anymore. They also sell their own fixative spray which I haven't tried.

I was even able to print on just the top couple of inches on the page, cut it off and use its decals, and run the paper through for other decals. No need to print the entire page or toss out the unused section - within reason.

I've used them in several places, but the most compliments are on an old fishing rod that I rebuilt and applied logos from the local high school (photo included).

I've purchased 3 different kinds of transfer decal paper and this is my favorite. I am a nail professional and wanted it for custom decals on nails. At first I was disappointed since the package came and I didn't realize it needed some sort of sealant (oops). However I realized I had the best sealant for the way I intended to use it, clear nail polish! Let the ink dry completely and polish thin and quick. Worked like a charm!

this item works just as advertised, i used it to make custom graphics for guitars. these are just like model airplane decals you get the wet and they slide off the paper once positioned let them dry. you have to clear coat it to keep the water from washing off your ink.. works perfect if you follow directions, that are included.

This waterslide decal paper works fine and does color very well in an inkjet printer...as long as you do a couple of crucial things to it once you have printed on it. You must spray on clearcoat polyurethane and allow it to dry FOR ONE FULL DAY before attempting to use it. Once you've sprayed it and waited the day, you have a great decal that is super easy to install. I messed up several times before I learned to spray and wait, but you won't be sorry.

There were a lot of small particles in the decal material, so if absolute clarity is a must, you'd be disappointed. I used it for a logo to go on wood. Only got about four usable decals out of 24 printed on the best sheet.

Fortunately, my needs were small. The material adheres great and took lacquer like a champ. The final product turned out great once I tossed out the flawed bits.

For a small project where it doesn't have to be perfectly transparent, this is a great deal.

The decals look great! Another brand (not bought through Amazon) gave an uneven, mottled finish, but this brand's look is MUCH more uniform. I make only small decals for use on HO scale trains and for model rockets, so I can't really comment on how a large decal will turn out. FYI, after printing I spray on two coats of Rustoleum gloss clear coat on the print which seals very nicely. No ink runs yet.

I purchased this thinking it would allow me to make a large image slide off decal to put on the side of my computer. I followed the directions - but the end result was a catastrophe. The image started getting cracks and stretched out in places and impossible to work with. HOWEVER - I expect (have not tried yet) that this is intended for much smaller projects. If you buy this, do so with the intent of smaller decals - so assemble all small images you will need and do it in one printing on one page. Follow the directions about clear coating, when dry, cut out your decals as you want them and apply as directed.

Be sure to spray the sheet with fixative after printing on it before putting into water or the ink will float off, wasting a sheet of this paper.
