It broke on my first session out surfing in small 4-5 foot waves with mini mal surfboard!!! This product failed to fulfill my hopes or expectations of a surf leash. Ended up buying an Ocean Earth brand leash at a local surf shop and that seems to have lasted me fine for over a year of use. Will not ever trust the FCS brand again for surfing equipment.

I've tried many different brands of leashes but sadly this was my least favorite, which is too bad because I really like the FCS company. The leash would kink up too much while I surf which caused it to get tangled in my feet one too many times in the same session. Honestly, I prefer Da Kine leashes as it never kinks while I surf. Maybe I just got the dud because I expect more from FCS.

The wrapping was a bit tight so the kinks remained for a while, but the quick release strap is great... it is comfortable and strong.

It went on easily tied up nicely to a surfboard. It had velcro that is tight and did not come off. It's just good old design and works well. What can you say more about FCS brand of surf leash?
