1-3 cups daily for 1 week to 3 months as a tonic, then continue to enjoy 1 cup daily for ongoing support.* BREWING DIRECTIONS: HOT TEA: Pour 1 cup of boiling water over a tea bag. Ginseng isn't a particularly nice trasting tea, as one other reviewer noted. I like to combine this with other more aromatic tea. But make no mistake, this is GOOD quality ginseng, and it absolutely will give you the (ahem) vigorous benefits of ginseng.

I like other teas/tisanes by Triple Leaf, especially their detox tea, but their American ginseng, while not only being more expensive than most of their other offering, had some strange tendency to give me a sore throat, the type I get right before coming down with a cold. I haven't had this reaction to American ginseng before.

This is an excellent gingseng tea. Experienced consumers will note that this is a medicinal tea and does not taste great alone. I place a bag in my 4 cup thermos and pour in boiling water. Consume the next day for maximum infusion. Raises energy and libido. Some say not recommended for women in most cases. This product provides reasonably strong American ginseng as described. Long infusion for best results.

This herbal tea is good and satisfying ... With the price of american ginseng going up, I think buying it in bulk sets is still a decent value, and it brews nicely. I like to make my own blend with a good lemon ginger tea or lemongrass ... the combination being nice as a hot tea or on ice.
