Flavor Name: Wholesome Nut MixSize: 9.75 Ounce (Pack of 3) Verified Purchase
I purchased these on the special Friday sale where they were $7.99 for 3 cans. At the store where I normally shop here one can is almost $5 so this was a fantastic deal. I liked how they were lightly salted and not as salty as alot of nuts are.

I agree with the other review that they were mostly almonds. Id say 60% almonds, 30% cashews and 10% macadamias but they were still quite good.

We love almonds and cashews and I wanted some pecans for a recipe that called for them. I ordered these, in spite of the reviews, thinking I only needed a small amount...

But man were they right!! My husband and I ate 2 pecans each in a few handfuls of nuts each. Realizing they were so few and far between, I went ahead and started separating the rest...

I split the almonds and cashews up into snack bags for my husband's lunches and put the pecans into a single bag for my recipe. I took a photo for you to see, these were all the pecans (aside from the 4 pieces we'd eaten lol)...

I rated these 3 stars because they were delicious, although not exactly what we'd hoped for, in terms of ratios haha...

Hope this is helpful! Smile.

Flavor Name: Mixed Nuts, RegularSize: 56 Ounce (Pack of 1) Verified Purchase
Planters has this product labeled correctly, less than 50% peanuts.

Their are 49% peanuts, 49% almonds and 2% good nuts. :o(

They should have to list % of all nuts included and then forced to stand behind their claim.

Very poor product for the price you have to pay.

These are good nuts, very lightly salted, just the way we like them.

But, they are almost all almonds.

A little disappointed with that. I was hoping they would be an equal mix of all the three variety of nuts.

Flavor Name: Deluxe Mixed NutsSize: 18.25 Ounce (Pack of 1) Verified Purchase
Nuts contain all sorts of vitamins and minerals. They're a far more healthful snack than chips or crackers. And mixed nuts are the best, since that way you get the greatest variety of vitamins and minerals. (Different nuts offer different benefits.)

These nuts are Deluxe, which means, No Peanuts. Peanuts are apparently inexpensive, so cheaper mixed nuts normally include lots of peanuts. You pay extra for Deluxe (peanut free). HOWEVER, it says on the label that these nuts are prepared "on equipment that processes peanuts" so if you have a peanut allergy, these might not be for you.

Another downside to these nuts is that they're expensive. And although the Planters's list price has been mostly stable these last few years, the cans are getting smaller (i.e., more expensive despite the "same" list price).

I was chagrined by the contents; way too salty, so that the nuts had little flavor left. Also, the peanuts were about 80%, and low grade examples at that. Not a gourmet item, might be all right for commercial use.

This review is for the Planters NUT*rition Heart Healthy Mix -

Usually these are priced the same as Planter's Deluxe Mix. However, these contain a lot more peanuts, which are cheaper. They contain peanuts, almonds, pistachios, pecans, walnuts and hazelnuts. And I think that's the order of abundance as well. Looking down into this fresh opened can here, I mainly see a lot of peanuts and almonds. I don't find them particularly greasy or oily, but they certainly are not dry roasted. The peanuts don't have skins. They have 50mg of sodium, compared to 110 in most other Planter's mixes, and they have 600mg of Potasium, compared to the 500mg in the deluxe mix.

Well over half of the can is peanuts. Not sure how heart healthy that is. Almonds seem to be the second runner up and then the other nuts are thrown in here and there. I think there was 5 pistachios in my entire can. Don't waste your time... mix and match at the health food store or find a brand with no peanuts.
