This backpack is perfect to carry your laptop plus books and other things. I carry my dell studio 1747 wich has a screen 17.3" with a sleeve over it, to protect it the sleeve is not needed because the backpack has a very padded area for the laptop itself I just use it to make sure it will be safe. The backpack is made of a very strong material and it's very comfortable to carry it around even with the heavy cargo inside. I recomend this product to everyone that is looking for a bag to carry a laptop around with the rest of their stuff inside. enough space for everything..... good looking also

I bought this bag because I wanted a classic looking backpack that could carry my 17 inch HP laptop on occasion while i bike to school. It works perfectly, the bag feels extremely sturdy while looking like "a standard duffel". The bag can hold a lot, the below reviewer gives a very thorough explanation, so I wont delve into details. I really wanted the olive color, but it wouldn't have arrived for a few months, so I went with the grey color, which is basically the color of light slate. The bottle opener is a cool gimmick, but i feel that the space could have been used more wisely. The bags straps are lined on the inside with a black mesh padding, so its very comfortable, I haven't had any problems wearing it for 2 hours on my bike. Great bag, great price. Just remember, this isnt just for laptops, its a great bag in general.

This backpack is exactly what I've been looking for. I have a 17" in laptop and found it hard to find CUTE functional bags that would fit. It has plenty of space inside, and enough pockets for pens and earphones and the like. It even has a larger pocket on the side of the outside (that I didn't find for a while) that is perfect for power cords. I might buy it in black as a back up. I cannot be more happy with this. The straps are super comfy. Totally recommended.
