This backpack is pretty much my mobile home. It fits my laptop perfectly and I've been nothing but happy with it since I got it. I bought it for grad school because I needed to carry my rather large laptop and books and pencils and such with me everywhere I go on a large campus and it has plenty of room for all of my stuff! And the extra padding on the inside keeps my laptop safe and separate from my books. It's great. I made the right choice when I chose this one over any of the others. The straps are very sturdy and comfortable too and don't hurt my shoulders. Love this backpack!

my big 17" laptop was SWIMMING in the lap top compartment, & it's embarrassingly HUGE. too bad because i really liked it otherwise. i'm returning this one and ordering the 15" & i have a feeling that might even be a little big. It's a good size if you're going on a hiking/camping trip... no joke. A+ on all the pockets for organization too. well made & cool design

I had the hardest time trying to find a backpack to fit my 17" Dell Precision workstation - it's no thin macbook pro. This backpack fits it easily, has great pockets and space and I like the way that it opens at the top - making it harder for stuff to fall out. I haven't worn this backpack for any long length of time, so I can't comment on how comfortable it would be for that but for the normal activity I've needed it for it's been great!
