i was a little worried at first when i saw "lacquered brass" thinking that maybe there would be a finish to worry about, but im super happy, it is a beautifull pen, not to slippery and has a stunning sheen to it, i love fisher pens anyway and am very happy with this one! also amazing value for the price.

I've had a couple of spacepens before, and they always write so nicely...this is no exception. This is my first Space Pen with retractable point (I've always gotten the bullet pens before). Nice, smooth line of ink right from the get-go. Write in the cold or the heat,and yes, upside down (which is handier than you would think!). Retractable point is pretty nice and maybe easier than the traditional bullet pen. Pen is fairly light in weight, but still feels pretty solid. American made, which is both nice and rare these days. Oh, Space Pen's also write for a long time on a cartridge, just thought I'd mention that. Good stuff

These space pens are just amazing! Yes, they write upside down and stuff. You expect that from a space pen. But this pen feels good in the hand. The ink flows with just the right amount of "drag" to help keep control.

The Cap-O-Matic function means instead of pushing a button, you push the entire top portion of the pen down to advance or retract the writing tip. There's nothing to twist or pull off. Just press the hole top down (just like the click pen's button) and you're ready to write.

My only problem is how am I not going to lose it. Wish me luck!

The fisher cap o matic is a light weight "space pen". It's very light and easy to carry. It has no cap, but instead u just click the top portion of the pen... It doesn't seem to be heavy duty... Like say a Parker jotter... Although fisher does make a space pen ink cartridge that fits the Parker FYI.

Over all it's s very nice pen.. I keep 1 in my car too, cuz the pressurized ink is impervious to hi/low temp, so it always writes and never explodes/leaks ink. And it writes on glass, ceramic, metal, ect. At ANY angle!!!

This is a great pen that writes well and feels good if you like a thinner pen. I kept finding my wife "borrowing" mine so I bought her one for her birthday and she loves it. It looks good and fits well in the sleeve pocket on my polos. I think at the price and quality, this is a great pen and gives you a more professional image. And hey if all else fails it works in space too.

In my experience, no pen writes well on the backs of photos. I finally found a pen that can do that without skipping. The fisher pen really writes well. The only problem is I can't find the pen when I need it. So I will have to buy anotheronto increase the likelihood of finding one.

This is such a great pen,Fisher Space Pen, Cap-O-Matic Space Pen, Lacquered Brass (M4G) I doubt I'll ever use any thing else. I ordered this to replace one I lost @ the club. I also have the chrome one;Fisher Space Pen, Cap-O-Matic Space Pen, Chrome Plated (M4C) they look identical but that one has alittle deeper cut in the grip on it so its alittle more non-slip, @least to me. I prefer the brass one for sheer good looks. I also have the black TrekkerFisher Space Pen, Trekker Space Pen, Matte Black (SC725B) on my key-chain which I did lose in a parking lot and it got runt over and bent, I found it a couple days later and I wont give it up.
