GREAT Tea Tree Oil!! - See pics :)

I love this tea tree oil! It smells great and has so many uses.

My family use it in the laundry when washing sheets and towels. And I've used it topically to get rid of skin depigmentation caused by tinea versicolor.

This tea tree oil is very high quality, it smells wonderful and I am very pleased with how well it was packaged and with how full the bottle was.

NOTE: Please don't make the same mistake I did thinking the top is a euro dropper top. It initially looked like one and I was trying to get it to drop out the oil and it wasn't. It is not a dropper top and it would not have been good if that plastic part came out while I was shaking it upside-down!

Highly recommend!

Packaging: Bottle was very well protected with tight bubble wrap surrounding the entire bottle. The box containing it had many plastic air pockets above and below it. It was shipped alone in a large box which was inside of a tied clear plastic bag.

Lacks a built-in dropper...

This IS 100% Tea Tree oil. Great product, as I'd expect from NOW. I own other essential oils of theirs as well. One gripe I have about this, however: NO DROPPER with this 4 oz bottle! This is the first 4 oz bottle I've bought from them of any kind of essential oil. The others I own are 1 oz bottles, and have built-in tops for getting one drop at a time. Lacking that is NOT A GOOD THING FOR ME!! I generally only use a few drops at a time, and I'm extraordinarily clumsy and have shaky hands! Not having expected the bottle to lack that special top, I was a bit annoyed at having to seek out a separate dropper so I could use this. Oh well. I have one now, but I'm also forewarned. I'm assuming the other 4 oz bottles of essential oil lack the special drop-tops as well. I wonder why? The assumption that if I buy this much as a time I must use larger quantities at once?

Do some research on its properties and uses if you haven't already. This oil is absolutely incredible! Being antimicrobial, antifungal, and antiviral, it has myriad applications. I wont go through them all, as other reviewers have named several, but I can list some of the unnamed uses for it.

MY unique uses: I mix it in a spray bottle with distilled water, and have several uses for this. It's effective in keeping my dog away from plants, and the garbage can, as it's very unappealing to them. As an added bonus, it's disinfecting the garbage can when I use it this way. BEWARE, however, because the oil is TOXIC if ingested, and if I'm not mistaken, I believe I read it shouldn't be used anywhere near cats. Double-check on that before use. I don't own any cats.

You can also use this spray in a travel size spray bottle for a hand sanitizer. No more alcohol, and tea tree is superior.Read more ›

Great for Skin Tags

I tried clear nail polish, tying my skin tags, everything that I could think of to get rid of these skin tags on my neck. I finally made an appointment to have them removed for the low price of $180.00. (I just could not bring myself to pay that much money because I do not have that many skin tags). I finally read an article that stated tea tree oil removes skin tags. Well I decided to try removing them one more time before my appointment. Tea tree oil definitely removes skin tags. I already have one gone and several more drying up and flaking off. The smell is strong and it does slightly sting when applying but that goes away in about 2 maybe 3 minutes. Nothing unbearable. If you have skin tags that you would like to remove, try this first method first.

I used this on a cyst I had behind my ear- after a few weeks the cyst is GONE! And no expensive, time consuming doctor's office visit!!!!! I mixed some with coconut oil to use on my son's diaper rash, and I am having my husband use it on his toe fungus. It is definitely helping!

Awesome, Potent Oil

Welp, I'm obsessed with tea tree oil, and while I don't have experience with any other brands, I can attest to the fact that NOW's oil is the real deal. I was looking for a more natural way to prevent or treat minor infections than antibiotics or Neosporin and the results have far exceeded my expectations.

I'm sort of turning into the dad from My Big Fat Greek Wedding with his Windex. I've started putting tea tree oil on everything and telling my friends and family to do the same, lol.

Love it for acne

Tea tree oil has a very intense smell. When i first opened the bottle I was kind of taken off guard. But after reading a bunch of reviews, I read how NOW brand has the most mild scent of them all so thats why I got this one. I got this for acne because I was told that it works better than a lot of acne medications and it doesn't irritate the skin nearly as much. I have been rubbing it on my face each night after washing. It works well although I'd recommend for acne to use treeactiv which is a tea tree oil acne base specifically for the face;

I've been using it and nothing else except for face wash for the last 6 months, and I've been amazed at how well it works.

I carry the blemish stick in my purse and the minute I feel a zit coming, I will generously apply it to that area and in just about every instance, the zit does not fully form and goes away. I still use the oil each night since I think there is a higher concentration of tea tree oil in it compared to the stick. Well, the smell is definitely more intense. I found it easiest to just bad a cotton swab with the oil and apply it that way. It has also improved the look of my pores too, so its just a great thing for the skin in general!
