Okay, I was looking for a low end price ($100) pair of binoculars and I tried out no less than 5 pairs of 10x42's before finally settling on the Bressers. I tried Celestrons, Vortex, Bushnells, Barska's, and Field and Stream.

The Bressers look stylish with the green waterproof coating and feel nice in the hands. They have lens covers that stay with the binos so you never loose them. The focus wheel is very smooth with about 2 1/4 turns of the knob to go through the full focus range. Compare that to the Vortex which only had 1 full turn to go through the full focus range which made it hard to get a precise focus. The eye cups twist out and allow you to get your eyes right in on the action.

The optics (really the most important thing in a pair of binoculars) are outstanding. I use my binos for spotting planes and these handle the job perfectly. I can see liveries for all airlines even flying at 30,000 feet.

To sum up, I'd say these are great binos for the price. I took a star off as obviously you can get a better pair for $300 or more. But in this price range they can't be beat. Trust me, I know, I tried and returned so many.

I bought a pair of these 10X42 Bresser Condor binoculars for my wife for birdwatching after reading several reviews on the product. The optics of these are really good, especially considering the price. They are easy to focus, have a good close focus capability, and provide sharp images with very little edge distortion. It comes with a really good case and I like the flip-down objective lens caps as well.
