I have really hard nails, so I've always had to clip my fingernails right out of the shower with a toenail clipper. I needed the extra leverage that a larger clipper provides.

I misplaced my trusty old Revlon clippers, so I picked up one of these new models at Kroger. I was expecting to pay 6-8 dollars, because I remember the old ones being a bit spendy, but they were only $2.39.

Dear Lord, what crap! I clipped my wet fingernail, but it didn't get clipped so much as gnawed at.

By cheaping out, Revlon is pissing all over its once trusted brand. I'm mailing these to Revlon HQ with a sternly worded letter. Not that it will do any good, but it'll make me feel better.

If someone tries to give these to you for free, say no. These are so awful its amazing. They do not cut little, thin fingernails let alone toenails. The blades are not sharp nor do they line up.

Any company who puts useless crap like this on the market should be run out of business. Guarantee I'll never buy anything with "Revlon" on it again.

The blades on these clippers are not very sharp and do not cut well, leaving the nail rough. I ended up tossing them and buying better quality clippers.

They've changed quite a bit. Its not like i remember the older ones to be.

the older toenail clips had a strong, fast, strong click, cut to it. This one. You press and/or squeeze and then the nail clips. It used to just chop it off...really strong like. Now, you kind of have to finish off pushing/squeezing the two parts together for the nail to be cut off.

i think the older ones were better by that little difference

These clip well on one side, but not on the other - they are just designed improperly. They are sharp enough, but close down unevenly, so you end up either just using the half that works, or ripping off your toenail. Ugh. Unfortunately, these things are all hit-and-miss...

Your picture your ad shows the old Revlon toenail clipper with the smooth face and the 'R' at the bottom of the lever. That is what I was ordering. Instead you sent me the new Revlon toenail clippers with the criss-cross design on the lever. I can get those at Wal-Mart for less than half what you charged me. I will be returning the toenail clippers you sent. If you can send me the old type Revlong toenail clipper that would be great, otherwise I will request a refund.
