This is a great mat. It survived Kindergarten and is in great shape still. Where the mat folds up it did have a slight tear,in that fold, but for using it daily at school it was in great shape everywhere else. I got the thicker one and my son still uses it at home. He uses it when on the floor to play video games or watch tv or for just playing in general. Our cat also LOVES to lay on it. We got our money's worth and it is MADE in the USA! Safe for him to sleep on. :0 ) It was easy for him to find at school as it was made with the different colors. Great mat!

We bought this nap mat for my daughter to use during Kindergarten as it was required. After the school year was over, my daughter brought the nap mat home and it was in horrible condition. The plastic covering was missing in several spots and it looked like a hamster had been chewing on it. Even worse, the nap mat was actually broken into 2 pieces, along where the mat folds up. It is possible my daughter had been picking at the mat rather than napping, but to see it so torn apart was surprising. However, I'm giving the mat a 3 star review because it DID get her through the entire kindergarten year and that was all we needed it for.

I bought 7 pads. And they are all felling apart at the seams.. I have daycare in my home and the kids just lay on them and are not allowed to play with them.. And they did not last..

used in my home day care. Good starter mat, but would prefer to get some more durable ones. I have now had my mats for about 8 months and each mat is used 3-5 days per week. I purchased 4 mats and all 4 are either coming apart at the seams or have rips in them. the kids love them and use them for napping and building occasionally. easy to clean. these mats fold easily, but it seems that there are large fold areas, which by the way contain no pad at the fold. Item shipped quick. Would buy again for the cost.

I bought this for my son for his daycare. He started daycare in Feb 2013. It ripped in half by June 2013. It actually cut his face too. What a piece of junk. I should have purchased the Kindermat...oh wait, it was sold out. Well lesson learned. I just ordered the Kindermat to replace this piece of junk.

We purchased this nap mat about nine months ago with the intent of having our son sleep on it at daycare. Unfortunately, the one-inch thin foam padding compresses down to about an eighth of an inch when our son is lying on it. That's not comfortable enough to give him a good nap.

We've since been using the nap mat as a changing mat, since it is also waterproof. The mat also fails here, as it is ripping along the seam between two of the padded sections. In the nine months since we've had it, using it about three times a day for three minutes on weekdays, maybe a ten times a day for three minutes on weekends, the mat has continued to fall apart. Now the center padding section has the plastic liner peeling back and the white foam underneath is exposed. The edges for the two other sections have ripped open as well. I doubt the mat will make it to one full year.

Save your money and buy a better mat elsewhere!
