Format: Audio CD Verified Purchase

Im not that familiar with Dub Step. However I liked "Never trust a Hippy" and the more I listened the better it got. That album was in my collection for ages, and only in 2014 I started listening to it. After that experience I tried Becoming a Cliche. This is magical music. Experimental, lots of influences and a sense of layers that one gets sucked into.

Format: Audio CD

I thought Dub music would never recover from Gary Clails musical onslaught 'Dreamstealers' and for me over the last 15 years there has been nothing thats come close to it, until now.

Forget about anything Adrian has done in the past especially the disappointing 'Never Trust A Hippy', 'Becoming a Cliche' is a totally different kettle of fish altogether and in my opinion, his best ever work. If you have listened to 'Never Trust a Hippy' and you liked the last track Majestic 12, then for me, this Cliche album is a follow on from that. Great beats, kicking bass, an assortment of vocals and styles all delicately mashed throughout the album only Adrian Sherwood could pull off.

If you are still unconvinced, dont be a fool, if you like dub, you HAVE to get this album.
