Being myself a physician, I found this product amazing. Sturdy, accurate, up-to-date. Since my purchase one month ago, its price has fallen significantly, at least 25%. What a pity for me!. This is an excellent product. However, I purchased this model for the computer record keeping functionality. The unit it turns out supports only Microsoft XP, not Vista. Had I know this (Amazon does not supply that caveat), I would have purchased a more basic unit.

I purchased this blood pressure monitor for my dad recently, who is hypertensive. Sooooo many people, even in today's 21st-century world, the Dital Age, are scared of technology, and so many readouts and a variety of buttons can stop some people in their tracks, intimidating them to no end. This device doesn't have that many buttons, which makes it way less intimidating than many other products and devices, and once you read the instructions, you'll realize just how easy and incredibly simplistic this Omron Ultra Premium monitor is. Probably the only difficulty we've encountered thus far is the cuff; trying to make sure it's aligned properly on the arm takes some getting used to. You have to know where to place the cuff's button (an easily-identifiable indented placeholder) so that it can obtain a proper reading (don't worry; if it's not in the right place, the monitor will provide you an "E" for "error" as feedback to let you know). It's easy to program and change the settings once you read the instructions, so make sure you read the short and easy-to-understand user's manual. It's extremely handy and a truly great product that I would recommend to anyone who's looking to keep tabs on their health in general and their blood pressure in particular.
