Removable glue dots stick candies on stuff!

I needed glue dots to stick andes mints on 1,000 bookmarks. I tested the dots with a much larger and heavier milky way bite straight out of the freezer and the glue dots held great! I didn't want the glue to ruin the bookmark when the candy is pulled off since it is an advertisement for my business. The bookmarks look great and the glue dot didn't pull the color off the paper when removed, so I will be using them again. Great product!

Best craft find of the year

Style Name: Glue Lines Verified Purchase

I have four Glue Dots products and love them all, but the 1" glue lines have basically everything I want in their products.

SIZE: They're 1" long and about 5mm or 3/16" wide (same width as Glue Dots' "mini dots"). This is great for most uses and you can easily cut them shorter if needed!
STRENGTH: Small but mighty. They bond instantly and stay bonded on most (clean) surfaces without a problem. I've used them on paper and cardstock, but also to attach lightweight things to my walls and a few miscellaneous uses. I used one to attach a wrapped 3oz candy bar to a plastic water bottle and it didn't budge (even in warm weather that started to melt the chocolate bar in the wrapper), to give an idea of how strong they are.
APPLICATION & ROLL: The roll is really great. It's clear plastic and perforated between each glue line (other GD products are non-perforated white paper). Tear the perforation, lay against your object, press it on, peel up plastic, then press the glue-lined part of the object to whatever you're gluing it on. Easy peasy. The clear plastic makes it easy to see exactly where you're pressing the glue line, too.

So clearly, I love them!
They're just essential for scrapbooking, card making, other crafting, whatever other use you can find for them.

These puppies are strong

I thought I ordered easy to remove glue dots but these puppies aren't going anywhere. I'm sure I just didn't read the product description well enough, it seems the older I get the less I research. These will come in handy for many projects, just not for hanging tags from artwork (lesson learned)!

Great for Save the Date magnets!

I needed a way to stick my save the date magnets to a 4x6 card before mailing them out, so I read online about using Zots or Glue Dots. After searching on Amazon, I decided on these removable ones (since I didn't want them to stick to the magnets permanently). They worked perfectly! Just the right size and easy to apply. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to other brides or for people doing crafts with lightweight materials that require a temporary "stick."

No mess for kid projects

I used these to assemble some paper and foam sports wreaths with the kids in my Indian Guides tribe. Typically there would be liquid glue and a mess everywhere with 10 seven-year-olds, but not with this stuff.

Just give clear instructions first as to how to use them. Cut off the amount of strips you need for each kid. Do not remove the glue strip, but instead hold it by the plastic strip and push the glue onto the surface to be glued, then remove the plastic strip. Then join the other surface to be glued to the glue strip.

These Dots are Great!

My wife just received and used some of these Glue Dots for a craft project; she said: "THERE GREAT!" She kept commenting how much better they are than using a hot, messy glue gun; and, they are VERY STICKY -- what goes on, stays on!

Not so good for felt

According to the Glue Dots chart, these removable Glue Dots are supposed to work with felt. Not so much. They stuck to the felt for about a day before coming loose. The other side of the dot was on a painted wall. That side stuck pretty well, and I was able to remove it without any damage to the paint.

Worked okay

I purchased these to attach a small placecard to the outside of a plastic CD case, for about 100 pieces. The dots worked... okay. They held the cards on, but only just barely, if you get what I'm saying. They certainly did peel off easily, for later, so that was a plus. You won't damage your items by using these.
