Great little product, no more losing the scope covers or trying to decide where to put them while you take a shot. Works as advertised, push the yellow button and it pops open, silent as can be. Nice and sturdy hinge design, durable plastic shell that doesn't overstretch or get loose. Does a great job keeping dirt and muck off of the lens. It seems that this product only lists the part number and not the diameter size making it difficult to know what number to order. Perfectly fit the eyepiece of my Vortex 2.5-10x44mm Viper HS Riflescope. The eyepiece diameter of the scope is 1.63 inches(41.4mm).

I originally had the Vortex brand eyepiece in the size that Vortex recommended but it was always too loose and I eventually lost it. This Butler Creek eyepiece fits with just the right amount of snugness and is quieter than the Vortex eyepiece when opening.

I also tried the one size smaller version, ie. the 13-14 size Butler Creek eyepiece but it was too small.

These are the best flip scope covers that I have owned. The base of the cover is a flexible material, so it fits snuggly on the scope. Because they're flexible, they are also more durable, and less prone to cracking. To get the right size, look up the exterior dimensions of your scope's objective and aperture lenses, and order the covers that have a range which those measurements fall in. The covers will stretch to fit your scope.

I liked these quite a bit. They work exactly as intended and look pretty cool too. They fit tight on the scope I bought it for. If you go to butler creeks website they actually have a fitment guide for a lot of common brand scopes, so you'll know what product number to get.

Bought it because I couldn't find an exact size cover that would work. This is a bit too flexible in that it has to be perfectly flat in order for the clip to hold well. Seems to pop open too easy, not staying closed.

I think is a good scope cover but it opens up with a little bump. So when your putting cover on your scope which is mounted on your rifle in the gun bag it has a tendency to open. Other than that its a good cover.

I put this on my scope recently, and I think Butler Creek makes great covers. This particular model has soft plastic/rubber type material that sleeves over the eyepiece of the scope, which makes the particular model adaptable to various scope sizes. The push button flip cap operation is very nice. Definitely will not dissapoint.
