I wanted an oblong griddle to fit over our center grill burner. This pan fit perfectly but after using it about 3 times it was shot. The surface turned black and it burned the pancakes. It went into the garbage this morning.

This pan gets very hot, including the handles. Almost impossible to cook with safely. Also the edges are SUPER fine, and when this pan fell to the floor on accident, it SLICED my TOE nearly severing it off. Thumbs down for this most craptastic pan. If it was not such a hassle to sue, I would do it. This pan is going into the dumpster today.

I bought this griddle as a gift for my wife who has taken to making pancakes on weekends. (She was burning up my Calphalon skillet.) Though affordable, it hasn't been a good replacement. Its too lightweight to conduct the heat across the entire surface of the pan. We end up with two hotspots and the rest of the pan is pretty much unusable. My suggestion: spend a little more and get a heavy duty griddle that does the job it was intended to do.
