If I could rate it NO stars I would I just got the two I ordered for my grandsons. I won't be giving them to the boys, they are cheap, poor quality and TINY ... Not the size stated online. I don't generally use the term "ripoff..." but this is without a doubt a huge RIPOFF. Don't order this, you will not be pleased.

Product is cute, but it is 4x6 NOT 6x10 as the description says. Also, the windows and door glue on; the cabin does not have an actual window (or door) opening. I was scared away from ordering on Amazon due to another review complaining about the incorrect size. I ordered a kit from elsewhere, hoping the size was different or it was a different model ... no. Darice needs to update its product information. It says right on the kit packaging that the finished size is 4x6. Kit appears easy to put together, and if you don't care about having a really small cabin, it might work out OK. Also, it requires staining -- the photograph here shows a darkish brown colored cabin that must have been stained after assembly. The logs come unfinished.

the upc for this product is 5269582441 and it says that the finished product size is 6 in x 10 in, yet the largest piece is only 5 1/2 inches. There is no way to make the finished product the size it says it will be. I will never order from Darice again, because who knows what else they've misled customers to believe about their products.

I bought this log cabin for a school project, However it is very small the chimney on the picture looks stone but it's actually just wood that sits on the top of the wood which is suppose to be the roof of the cabin the windows are too big they're about the same size of the door the wood over all is a light brown color instead of what the picture depicts i believe this is FALSE advertisment, i am very disappointed, i thought that i could depend on Darice to give me something to Awe everyone however this is not what i expected.

This is a neat little kit, but the packaging was pretty worn when we got it. It looked like it had been banged around on a shelf for a long period of time. The cardboard was bent, faded and a bit worn. Since this was a Christmas gift, I was a little embarrassed it looked used. The kit itself is in good condition though.

This was not what I was expecting. In the original picture of the cabin I ordered, it was painted. Did not realize I was going to have to paint it myself. Pieces were not cut for good fit.
