I wanted to surprise my 11 year old grandson with a money tree for Christmas. The tree itself looked ok, but it was very difficult to attach the money and there were no instructions or ideas on how to do it. My grandson was excited about the idea of the money tree, but I was very disppointed in how it turned out.

It was the perfect for me and the price was great!!! Sometimes you have to use a little creativity to get the results you want. I used this for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. I spray painted the whole tree metallic gold, taped a 50 dollar bill on top, and rolled one Dollar bills intertwined between the branches. I also got a bunch of gold 1 Dollar coins to put at the bottom of the tray. They loved it. Money really does grow on trees. I wish I could attach a picture to show you how beautiful it really was!

Saw this and I remember my Grandma having one very similar which she hung small glass ornaments on at Christmas and sometimes we used it as a gumdrop tree buy pushing gum drops on the limbs. I used it as a gum drop tree. Will have to look for some small ornaments to hang on it.

When I was young on Christmas morning there would be a gumdrop tree on the table. This looks identical to it other than the color, clear versus green, and durability . This is not sturdy enough to be of use as a gumdrop tree, but as a money tree it would probably work

Tree is somewhat flimsy, but it served it's purpose. With it's low price, I wasn't expecting anything extremely durable. Tried using the mini clothespins to attach money and gift cards, but the mini pins kept breaking apart. Found some 2 inch clothes pins that worked better.

My three grandchildren, ages 9 to 13, did not have particular suggestions for me for gifts this past Christmas. I thought a money tree would be something different for them. I purchased three of these. They come as two parts that slip together to make the tree. I decided on the amounts for each child and used a variety of denominations to get the total. I then rolled each bill so that the denomination did not show, and used rubber bands to fasten them to the tree. The three kids were delighted with their money trees. I recommend this product.

We ordered this as a GUMDROP tree. Our family has a tradition of putting out a gumdrop tree, I couldn't find one anywhere, then I found this MONEY tree. basically the same thing only a bit thicker. which is great for little hands

I used to have a metal gumdrop tree and loved it, this is not the same. After my metal one broke last year and I have not been able to find a replacement, I bought this one to replace it for this year. It is so lightweight I worry it will break all the time, and if you don't take the gumdrops off evenly around the tree it will fall over. Maybe it works better for money?
