I am always amazed at reviewers who complain about a product because it did not meet their unrealistic expectations. These stitches are small and made if plastic. If you need to hem something but do not have much time to do so, these are great TEMPORARY fixes that work perfectly. If you have outgrown your pants causing you to bust the seams and you don't understand why the pants keep splitting, then these aren't going to fix your problem... Not the real problem, anyway! I wouldn't recommend them being used as surgical stitches, but they are great for fixing the hem on the curtains minutes before the in-laws come over. I keep one of the quick stitch gunsight vehicle to help fix any wardrobe malfunctions that can occur while I away from home. Bottom line: if you are in need of a quick, reliable, and inexpensive fix for life's little rips and tears, then I think you will find this product useful.

These fasteners hold a quilt sandwich together without problems. No scratching cutting table or sewing machine. No getting stuck by straight pins. For the most part, they are very easy to remove. Occasionally, they get under a thread but easily removed with tweezers. I would recommend this product.

This particular item is a refill for the Mico Stitch craft machine that I have used for at least 8 years. It is a jack-of-all-trades fixing every last minute problem that I didn't want to use a needle and thread for and it holds until you pull it apart. Can be used on clothing, and most materials (except very heavy. THESE REFILLS ARE LIFESAVERS AT THE READY!

I would give a 5 star rating but there is a small issue: the fasteners get bent and then consequently get stuck in the gun. I use these to attach quilts to a long arm quilt machine. Time is money and when I have to stop to clear out he gun, then it costs me time and money. Regardless, I love this concept and they are way better than pins. I have recommended them to my long arm quilting friends.

Anyone who hems anything should have this fastener and needles. I had one years ago and couldn't find replacement. Now that I look at Amazon all the time, I'm set! These needles are so short that you cannot see where you used them, which is what I want.
