The product is 1:2 mixture, meaning you get half the amount of plant extract that would be in a 1:1. Cant tell that from product details. And since its listed with others that I know are 1:1, I assumed it would be the same

I bought this at a health food store and it is NOT like an extract at all. It is very watery and therefore not strong. I do not know if this particular brand has always made their extract this way or if there is some sort of licorice shortage which led to the company skimping on ingredients, but avoid this brand.

This is just about the nastiest stuff I have ever put in my mouth!! You can mix it with almost anything but the flavor is so strong that it over rides anything you could mix it with. I would not recommend this to anyone.
