This product made by this manufacturer has been tested and found effective for years by me. Had stopped for a while and noticed the difference: sluggish, lazy, lethargic, my get-up-and-go had got up and left. Well, it's back! Plenty of evidence online pointing to the efficacy of "Siberian Ginseng." I couldn't remember how I used to buy it, but Amazon had it. On a healthy kick at 78, trying to stay alive and alert and happy in my own home.

This was an item prescribed by my doctor as part of my Lyme cure. I was very sick when I was finally diagnosed and the doctor said that antibiotics would only deplete whatever was remaining of my immune system. So we took the approach of herbs, minerals and other supplements, along with a diet of organic vegetables and fruit, cutting out all wheat, corn and soy and eating only grass fed meats and eggs from chickens that actually lived outdoors on grass. One thing that I found almost immediately was that this recommendation saved me lots of money at the grocery store. Processed foods are expensive and really aren't good for you anyway.... and I never had much use for "fast food" as the only thing that is fast about it is how quickly you run down your body... Nonetheless, I have been Lyme symptom free for about 4 years now. I still continue with the same eating habits, along with some of the herbs, minerals and supplements, though at a much lower dose. Eleuthero is one item that I have taken regularly - and I give it to my 86-year-old mother as well. This is the good stuff ....

It took about a month of aggressive supplement therapy but I am feeling somewhat normal for the first time in years. Not crashing mid-morning and mid-afternoon and even get to stay up a little later "with the big kids" (LOL!). This, plus Adrenal Complex are making a wonderful change in my energy levels.

We use this product in treating our lyme and coinfections. This brand has been the best thus far. It is strong in flavor, and how it works, which is what we need. Other products we had looked at had yeast, and this one did not, which is another plus. I would suggest for anyone who is in the healing process from an illness, anyone who works with chemicals, and anyone in general who spends time outside when a lot of geoengineering is going on.

I've purchased the HerbPharm Eleuthero extract a number of times, including at least once off of Amazon. This is NOT a review of HerbPharm Eleuthero, which I think is excellent, but is instead a review of this item, listed by this seller. I noticed when I placed the order that the picture in the shopping cart did not match the familiar picture of an HerbPharm bottle. However, when you clicked the link in the cart for the item, you'd go back to the page, which clearly stated HerbPharm. So I went ahead and ordered it. Big mistake!

What I received is a very, very, VERY weak extract from some other company (HerbalTerra.com, maybe, though the label says Aloha Now!).

Accept no substitutes - you get a LOT more Eleuthero with the water and alcohol in the real HerbPharm product.

Eleuthero is something I will not live without. I have an extremely hard job and I work 10 hours plus 2 hours driving. When I do not take Eleuthero I absolutely crush in the evening, just can’t move. With Eleuthero I can make it through the day and in the evening I still have some energy left. It is really great product. Put a few drops under your tongue and hold it there for a 30-40 sec. It makes all difference in the world.
