I am soooo happy I purchased these felt pads from Amazon as they help us all sleep a little better. Sounds strange, huh? We have a wooden door sign on each of our boys' doors, but they tend to bang on the door when you open or close it. Not fun when neither one sleeps through the night and I'm in and out of both rooms or when one wakes up earlier than he should and really bangs it on the door. Enter these Waxman felt pads and voila!--problemo solved! I had put velcro circles in the corners, but those didn't help much. This pad adheres easily, has a strong adhesive, and is incredibly thick and soft. No more bangs in the night in our home! This would work perfectly under furniture, too, though it is somewhat thick and might be visible (unless it's on tan carpet); just cut it to size.

Great product for padding furniture for hardwood floors. May be cut to size but they are tough to cut! Have a good exacto knife with several blades!

Well, title of this review pretty much sums it up. These pads are very thick, very sturdy and the adhesive is very strong. You have to have a strong pair of scissors to cut the pad if you want smaller sections. The felt is quite thick and should protect the floors from even very heavy items.

I just took out carpet and put in new wood flooring. The furniture would scrape the wood when I pulled out a chair , so I bought these to help the furniture glide over the wood. It works well. I like that I can get my scissors and cut them to size. The glue can wear off after some time ,so if you use a chair often you will want to keep your eye on the felt to ensure that it has not fallen off. If so, just cut a new piece and stick on. Easy..

I bought several packages of these and slapped them on my new counter bar stools before I even removed them from the packing. It took two whole ones and two halves to cover the chrome base of each chair. Now, my chairs slide effortlessly in place. And no worries about scratch marks on my new hardwood floors. Well worth the money for piece of mind!

When we got all new flooring in our 100 year old home, we realized that many pieces of our furniture had done damage to the old flooring so we got this product to use on the legs and bottom of the furniture. This product is thick and even the heaviest of our furniture does not cause this product to collapse. It is self stick so adhere quickly. It cuts with a good pair of scissors.

I have an odd job for my felt pads; using it to line the inside cheek guards of a corinthian helmet, which is all-metal, and fashioned of bronze. The natural sticky materials was not enough to do the job, though I cannot fault the pads for this, as they are made to settle onto a flat surface and to press against another flat surface, and not a curved one made entirely of metal. With some glue, and holding it in place, this gets the job done. The felt itself is close to a half a cm thick, and provides the padding I was looking for.
