I've been using this product for about six months now after having tried a few other acidophilus items in the past.

It seems to serve the purpose I have been using it for quite well and the cost is rather low compared to many other similar products.

Perhaps my favorite thing about it is that unlike many if not most acidophilus items out there, it does not need to be refrigerated, which comes in handy when traveling.

I have been using this product for almost a year. I see a definite change. My allergies are not as severe. My GI functions have normalized. Most importantly, I have noticed a huge difference in my immune system. One of the best things about this product is that you only need one capsule a day. Most other probiotics that I have tried you needed to take multiple capsules multiple times a day. I will continue to use this product and I highly recommend it.

So far I've had some general colds but I like taking these pills on a regular basis without little to no ill effects. Nothing replaces eating well, getting enough sleep and exercise but these pills help to maintain good bacteria in the body which helps in fighting external bad bacteria as well as shortens some of my illnesses. They aren't magic but a good supplement to have daily.

Tummy tested, doggy approved. Ok in all seriousness, we use this for our IBS prone German Shepherd. I discovered, through trial and error, that acidophilus was the best for his stomach issues. Then I bought this because, well, WTH, it was cheap and we needed acidophilus. Well, dog did really well on it, and now this is exclusively what I used.

Just FYI - Acidophilus has shown to outcompete E.coli, as well as been beneficial for yeast infections. So UTI and yeast infections, you want this. But I also read a few studies that showed it helps with hair growth (probably from the bacteria being able to extract and use more nutrients from what you eat). Hope this helps!

This probiotic works fine, but personally it didn't work as well as some other brands I've used in the past. It is a quality product, just not as effective for me personally as others have been. The difference is slight, however: not so much that I wouldn't use it again - just enough so that if the prices/quantities were equal, I'd choose a couple other brands. Yet the price sold me, and it works well enough that I take it regularly.

I don't regret the choice at all, and I think it really comes down to a matter of what your body is specifically more in need of. That's just a guess, though, as to why I like one over the other, yet by a small degree.

This item is a great replacement for an equivalent product I was buying for twice the price at my local pharmacy. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is almost the same size as my former product, but I was hoping for a bit smaller capsule size. It is still, however, a *great* size -- very swallow-able, especially due to its being a capsule. It's likely that the amount of product can't be reduced to a smaller capsule or gel cap size, so I'm likely not being realistic.
