Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
i just tested out this pack. we hiked 1 full day+OVERNIGHTED on a mountain in the philippines. we did it with 1 infant+a 3 yr old + a 5 yr old. we took many different packs. i will soon post video as soon as pics are e-mailed to me from there. 1st, im no expert...dont completely rely on my review cz im just a novice bt i can gv u a real gd idea of what to expect. what u can expect is beautiful things. what a wonderful joy this was! i dont care if you pay full retail for it. its a 1 tm purchase. let me be clear...it doesnt hv seperate legs...it dont talk+dont gv u directions on where to go BT...this was everyones favorite...hands down. we also had a mountainsmith pursuit pack...lucky bums pack for the 2kids+ a mountain hardware trance backpack. all held up well. what seperated this pack was tht its so pleasing. it stretches a little+in order to unzip any zipper u needed to remove ur brain...collapse + grab the yellow thing+ bingo its done. no brain activity required. tht was important cz we were overloaded cz there was no fresh water supply on the mountain so we were really draggin by nightfall. what i personally liked so mch was the belt. it had enough room for 3 diapers + a small baby powder. it was so nice to hv tht. i read many reviews b4 i bought it. all were happy. i will dis-agree wth 1 of them. a woman said she got it for her daughter for girlscouts overnight camping. she asked tht they make it a little bigger. our pack was worn by a philippino 5'3'' tall. he had everyth incl the kitchen sink in tht damn pack incl a 357magnum+ i watched him sweat from start to finish. i cant imagine ths pack being bigger. its for children+maybe if you carried styrofoam peanuts or someth like tht then u would need mor room...bt god darn it...he carried an imense load in it. i will post pics when i gt em+you will see how big this pack is on this full grown philippino. i cant think of 1 bad thing to say. only tht the mountainsmith pursuit had a slight edge cz it had gobs more padding bt was much heavier to start with. u will make no mistake buying this pack. i guess if you really plan on overloading the hell outta your pack then i d say get the "pursuit" pack bt overall this pack just blows it away.
