Well I went to Bodega bay the other day. I used this spray. A number of people were putting their traps close to each other. I seem to come up with crabs more often than they did. This was true with my pots too.

Used the minnow "flavor" on my rubber minnows and it increased the time the crappie held onto the bait by quite a while. I cant say it increased the number of strikes but it does a good job of kepping them from spitting out the lures quickly. It may not increase the number of strikes but it definately increased the number i landed by stopping the "hit and spit". While i think its a little pricey, a bottle will last a very long time so its worth it.
