I wear these shoes 16-18 hours a day, literally, and couldn't stay on my feet without them! I have plantar fascitis, flat feet, and nerve damage in my feet, and these shoes have provided the perfect support needed to help me get through the day. They're made well, are lightweight, and the design gives my feet comfort so the everyday pain isn't as bad. Additionally, the footbed is fuller than other atlethic shoes I've tried, giving my toes plenty of room. I recommend these to anyone who is looking for everyday shoes, especially if they have feet with issues.

This is hard to describe, but the shoe is very comfortable and supportive when you put your foot in the shoe and it really does feel great. HOWEVER, when I started walking in them they are very stiff and do not allow for the natural movement of the foot. I felt like my feet were just tramping rather than heel to toe walking. It was very frustrating because they really do look like cushy comfortable marshmallow-like shoes that would be great for walking. It looks like they would work better for a person who stands all day in one position like a cashier, or clerk behind a counter, but not for anyone who walks.

I did put an extra support in this shoe but only because I have a torn calcified tendon on one ankle. They are awesome shoes. I am a nurse and wear them every day. The shoes give me really good support with all the walking I do.

These are well made shoes, but Aetrex/Apex have changed the layering insoles. There is basically no arch support ,Which is important to me. Comfortable to stand in, but not comfortable to walk in. I really do like Aetrex shoes, but these are not for me. Returning for a refund

Unfortunately, because of the length, the arch was too far forward to give me the proper support. Careful,THEIR wide is D and not C/D. I discovered I am a wide medium, C, not a good shoe for me. :-(
