My dog loves these! she usually rips tennis balls to pieces but she hasn't even tried to destroy them. I think it's because she likes playing with them and making crazy noises with them so much. She likes to play with all three at the same time and hide them under a blanket. Some people might get annoyed by these, dogs enjoy hearing themselves make noise (mine does at least). These are well worth the price. One thing though, i ordered these from amazon and it took over a month to get them.

My boxer puppy is obsessed with these balls. I wouldn't necessarily consider him a "power chewer" since other balls and toys seem to last fairly long. These balls only last a few days. (see photo) He loves them so much but I'm going to buy the larger squeakers and see if those last longer. Since he will not be able to fit the entire larger ball in his mouth, I'm hoping that helps the longevity of it.

My german shepherd Daisy loooooves these tennis balls. She carries them around with her everywhere she goes, even on walks! It's funny her bed in the kitchen we call her "nest" because of her collection of tennis balls on it. The squeaker balls are so much fun for her and she definitely prefers them to regular old tennis balls I've noticed! I always pick some of these up for her when I'm at the store :)

These are the best balls for dogs!! My dog walks around the house constantly biting/chewing on it, LOVES the SQUEAKER!!! I bought extra ones to keep on hand!

update to original review: I assumed these balls would be the same quality as the all orange colored KONG squeaky tennis balls; however, they are not!! The orange balls last a long time....these NOT SO MUCH, TORN AND RIPPED,SQUEAKER FELL OUT AFTER A WEEK OF PLAYING! Also, one of the balls in the bag was defective and never "squeaked"!! Will not be buying this particular item again.

I have a 6 pound yorkie who is hard on her toys, although she hasn't been able to destroy Chuckit! mini tennis balls, she also doesn't seem too thrilled with them either. Last week I came across the Kong squeakair tennis ball (mini size) at a local pet store, she loved it and the squeak was such a funny sound we tolerated it. After about an hour of fetch she decided to put it out of it's misery, puncture it and remove the squeak. Luckily I was watching her at the time (never thinking that she could destroy it) and realized quickly that she had the squeak in her mouth. Very scared and annoyed that she could've choked, I was also very disappointed because I expected better construction from Kong. The squeak is not a bulb that you would normally see in a toy, this one is smaller and comes to a point that sticks in the ball and can easily do damage if swallowed. I imagine if a ball is pliable enough to squeak it, then it will probably easy enough to destroy as well and remove the squeak which could be extremely dangerous.

The concept is great but until Kong can figure out a better, safer design, they should definitely take these off of the market. While some dogs may not have a problem with it, there are several dogs that love to chew and destroy their toys and I'm sure the Kong company would feel terrible if someones dog was hurt or worse because of their product.

I'm not a big review writer but I feel it necessary to pass this information on, not to bad mouth the Kong company, because I do like their products but because I am concerned about the safety of the dogs.

While the Kong dog toys we have previously purchased have been very durable,
this set of Kong Squeakair Birthday Balls has been anything but.
Our small 4 lb. dog has, within a few days of 10 minutes of very mild play time,
turned them into not one, not two, but three fuzz balls. Not good . . . at all!
Swallowing the fuzzy bits poses a health concern that could easily warrant a vet visit.
Especially if your dog is a chewer and/or a shredder,
do yourself and your pet a favor and bounce these from your cart!

My dog loved these squeaky balls. The sound may be a little annoying sometimes though. However, I was mistaken in assuming that because these are balls made from the Kong brand, that they'd be pretty tough. My dog punctured holes in 2 of them within 15-20 minutes, and then it was no longer squeaky. Then he ripped the fuzzy fabric covering the ball off of it and tried to pull it off.

My dog is 35 pounds and a 9 month old puppy. He is pretty destructive, so within the context, this probably wasn't a good buy for him. This is a great squeaky fetch ball for dogs, but not durable like the other kong toys.

These are so unique because they squeak! Most other tennis balls are hard to find with a squeaker inside. For reference I've attached a photo of the difference between these and the Chuck-It small ultra balls. The Chuck its are way more tough/durable and high quality, but these are very soft and squeaky just like a real tennis ball. My dog loves them both.
