I got these as a replacement for my bottle wand, but I wasn't aware that OXO makes two different kinds of wands. Mine is threaded on the end, and these are NOT threaded. They're designed for a different type of wand that snaps in. I'm very disappointed, because like a lot of other people here I had the problem that the blue tip came unglued from my original sponge, but I can't even use these sponges with the wand I have because they're the wrong type. Not worth returning, so I'm basically stuck with useless sponge heads. It is very frustrating that OXO makes two identical-looking bottle brushes but one with threads and the other with a snap-in connector. I wish it had been clearer that these were not designed for the threaded type of wand.

Buy the ones that don't have the scrubbie end - the ones that are solid blue.

I really want to like these with the scouring tips, but the sponge tips always fall off prematurely. I don't know if the glue dissolves or if it is just not high enough quality glue, but before I know it the tip falls off and then it is worthless.

This would be a good product if the blue end didn't separate so easily from the rest of the wand. I bought refills and this product deficiency was also consistent with all of the refills.

I wouldn't bother to add my review, as I agree with almost all previous reviews. However too much was written over the years, so to make it easier here is a summary of the important points made:

1. Only suitable for a squeeze tab handles (NOT SCREW THREAD handles!)
2. Use for stemwear, glass and cups only (not sharp objects).
3. Store upside down when not in use to prevent soap leakage.
4. Hard to find in stores, decent pricing here (assuming you are a prime member)

That said - we couldn't find anything out there to replace this smart tool!

Oxo/Amazon - time to respond to the numerous calls and better inform the buyers of the product's compatible and non/compatible parts!

First - I purchased these here for $4.99/2. Today they are $11.18/2. At Bed Bath and Beyond they are $3.99/2. Easy decision where to purchase.

Second - I have used these for years, and yes, they have always fallen apart, but it has always happened right about the time they need to be thrown out anyway. Every sponge I've used in this batch has fallen apart immediately. Although I loved using this product in the past, I would rather throw it out now, than deal with defective replacement heads.

Oxo has changed the wand. Old wands take a screw replacement, new wands take a tabbed replacement. This is a tabbed replacement. See customer photos above for info on screw replacements. Why isn't Amazon or Oxo providing this information?

That's what I get for placing too much trust in the descriptions on Amazon. These look just like the ones that are on my dish wand but nooo, I have the ones that screw on so these don't fit. I really wish the description warned that these DON'T FIT the screw-on wands!!! I went on OXO's website but even there, they only have these, not the screw-on type. I've emailed them but so far no reply. What a waste of time & money!!! I am NOT happy!

Oxo used to make a refill replacement that was constructed as a single piece. This new item is fabricated as two pieces with the blue tip stuck on with some sort of adhesive. It comes off after very few uses, which makes this a very expensive way to clean material off of dishes and out of cups and glasses. Poor product. I would rate it lower than one star if possible.
